The ITIL® 4 Specialist: High-Velocity IT course is designed to enable practitioners to explore how digital organizations and digital operating models work in so-called High-Velocity environments. It will familiarize you with working practices like agile and lean management and technologies such as automation testing, cloud, and more. It is relevant for ITIL Managing Professionals (ITIL MPs) and ITIL Strategic Leaders (ITIL SLs), who work toward delivering high velocity IT. This course is based on the ITIL® 4 Specialist: High-Velocity IT certification from AXELOS. The course deals with the details of digital transformation and helps organizations develop towards a convergence between organization and technology, or alternatively establish a new digital organization.
Course Overview
In today's society, digitization drives development faster and faster. This places new demands on the IT service providers to respond to the demands to deliver new functionality faster and with high quality. Gone are also the days when development was driven in large projects with a lot of governing documents. Now much of the development is agile and fast-paced. The content of High Velocity IT focuses on processes, ways of working and how other concepts and technologies are integrated into the new modern ways of working that are required.
The course includes the use of work methods such as Agile and Lean, as well as technical methods and techniques such as Cloud, Automation and Automatic Testing. The focus of these methods and techniques is on rapid delivery of products and services to obtain maximum value.
After completing the training, the participant will, among other things, have acquired knowledge of:
