Prerequisites:

The PfMP has a list of academic and professional prerequisites.

  • For applicants who have a high school diploma, college degree, associate degree or a global equivalent must have at least 84 months of portfolio management experience and at least 96 months of professional business experience in the last 15 years.
  • Applicants with a four-year degree, bachelor's degree or global equivalent must have at least 48 months of portfolio management experience and at least 96 months of professional business experience in the last 15 years.
