The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) helps companies address the major challenges of developing and delivering enterprise-class software and systems in the shortest sustainable lead time. It is like an online, freely disclosed knowledge base of proven success patterns for implementing Lean-Agile software and systems at an enterprise scale. SAFe synchronizes alignment, collaboration, and delivery for a large number of Agile teams. SAFe is scalable and configurable, allowing each organization to adapt it to its own business needs. SAFe supports small-scale solutions with 50-125 employees as well as complex systems requiring thousands of people. A Certified SAFe® 6 Architect is an effective leader and change agent who delivers Agile Architecture to enable business value creation. Key areas of expertise are applying SAFe principles to develop and maintain Agile Architecture and release on demand, leading and supporting Solution Trains and Agile Release Trains, extending the principles that drive continuous flow to large systems-of-systems, and enabling improved value flow. The course is aimed at senior technical staff who need to understand the role of systems, solutions, and enterprise architects in Lean-Agile organizations. The course is also suitable for people who want a deeper insight into how architecture enables continuous value flow and how architects engage with and contribute to a Lean-Agile enterprise. Participants can improve collaboration and alignment in a SAFe® Lean-Agile enterprise when they become SAFe® 6 architects. The SAFe for Architects course prepares system, solution, and enterprise architects to engage across the organization as effective leaders and change agents who collaboratively deliver architectural solutions. During this three-day course, participants will explore the roles, responsibilities, and mindset of Agile Architects, and understand how to align architecture with business value and drive continuous flow to large systems of systems while supporting SAFe program execution.
