About Six Sigma

Six Sigma is a methodology that aims to both increase customer satisfaction and at the same time improve internal efficiency. The cornerstone of the methodology is to reduce quality deficiency costs through fact-based decisions, lasting changes and measurable results.

Six Sigma is based on five basic phases - DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) - within which both qualitative and quantitative tools are used which are central to the concept.

Lean and Six Sigma give us a powerful methodology to permanently improve our processes and reduce costs. Lean to reduce waste (time thieves) and thereby free up time for value-creating activities and Six Sigma to reduce variation and improve quality.
