Management of Risk (M_o_R) is a generic framework for managing risk across all parts of an organization - strategic, program, project, and operational. It incorporates all the activities required to identify and control the exposure to any type of risk, positive or negative, which may impact achieving your organization's business objectives. The main body of the course covers the principles, approach, processes, embedding & reviewing, and perspectives of the Management of Risk guidance. The study also looks at risk health checks, the Management of the Risk maturity model, and risk management specialisms.

Risk Management (M_o_R®) is designed to help organizations put in place an effective risk management framework that enables them to make informed decisions about the risks that affect their strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product or operational objectives. It provides practical guidance for effective risk management and shows how to link risks to opportunities and benefits. M_o_R® is universally applicable and aligned with ISO standards.

During this Risk Management (M_o_R) course, you will improve your skills and knowledge in Risk Management - M_o_R framework. You will be able to assess and make decisions about risks that affect your organization's performance. You will also be able to protect your organization by applying the activities required to identify and control your exposure to risks. This is possible by embedding and reviewing risk management in your organization's culture and by being able to implement and update risk management in any scenario.

Exam details
Prerequisites:
There are no formal prerequisites to attend MoR® Foundation course and exam. We recommend that you have basic knowledge and experience of risk management.
The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:
Exam language: English, Danish, German, Polish
- Multiple choice examination questions
- 75 questions per paper
- Five questions are ‘trial questions’ and not counted in scores
- 35 marks required to pass (out of 70 available) - 50%
- 60 minutes’ duration (25% extra time for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
- Closed book.
Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks before course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered, you can book your online exam at a date and time. You are responsible for booking your exam.
