A P3O model provides a decision-enabling and delivery-support structure for all change within an organization, whether large or small. This P3O Practitioner virtual course is designed to enable delegates to understand the structure, roles, tools and techniques and the processes that help ensure business change happens in line with corporate strategic objectives. Virtual instructor-led training (VILT) incorporates both the personal teaching experience of a classroom, with the ease and flexibility of a virtual environment. Our VILT courses are interactive and engaging, allowing participants to communicate with both the instructor and each other collaboratively. This is an intensive two-day course that prepares you for the P3O Practitioner examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the Practitioner level you should exhibit all the competencies required for the Foundation qualification and to show that you could apply the P3O guidance to the design, implementation and management of a P3O model. Specifically, you will need to demonstrate your ability to:
Develop the business case required to obtain senior management approval for the P3O
Identify and build
the most appropriate P3O model, which will adapt to the organization’s needs, taking account of the organization’s size and portfolio, programme and project management maturity Identify the most appropriate roles required to populate a specified P3O structure
Plan the implementation of a P3O

Choose and use appropriate tools and techniques while running the P3O and advising those who shape the portfolio of programmes and projects

Materials
Digital Course materials: These will be accessible via the portal. Full instructions with a link to the portal will be issued within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download. You will need to download and save the materials to your device, so that you can annotate them during the training course.
Hardcopy official manual: If you decide to purchase the official manual as an optional extra your manual will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.
Exam Information
Exams are taken online via remote proctor.
You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam.
Exam Format
- Objective testing
- Four questions of 20 marks each - 80 marks in total
- 150 minutes’ duration
- 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) – 50%
- Open book - (Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices: P3O guide only)
Recertification:
This certification has a renew within three years of the award date to remain current.
