Prerequisites for the PgMP® certification are as follows:

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 6,000 hours of project management experience
  • 10,500 hours of program management experience

To earn your Program Management Professional (PgMP)® credential, you must meet the experience and education requirements and pass the panel review and the multiple-choice examination. Regardless of how advanced your program management experience or education might be, it would be best if you still prepared vigorously for the exam.
