PMI PMP® Project Management Professional - Classroom (exam included)

PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification is designed for individuals with project management experience who want to be equipped to plan and manage projects according to international best practices and prepare for the PMP certification exam.
The 2023 edition differs significantly from previous editions as it covers both plan-based and agile methods of project management and combinations of these, the so-called hybrid models. This means that the course is, if possible, even better and more relevant than before.

PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification course is excellent in preparing the participant to understand and apply both plan-based and agile methodologies - including assessing each project situation and when each methodology is most appropriate. The training thus covers international best practices in both traditional waterfall methodology and agile methods, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP and similar.

There are no formal prerequisites for attending the PMP® Exam Preparing Course, but there are specific prerequisites before you can schedule and book your PMP® exam.

• If you want to take the PMP ® exam, you must fulfill certain criteria.

To be eligible for PMP certification, you must fulfill certain educational and professional experience requirements.

• All project management experience must have been gained in the last eight consecutive years prior to submitting your application.
• Secondary education (high school, diploma or the global equivalent).
• At least five years/60 months of unique, non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were devoted to leading and managing the project.
• 35 hours of project management training OR CAPM certification

OR

• Four-year degree
• At least three years/36 months of unique, non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4500 hours have been spent leading and managing the project
• 35 hours of project management training OR CAPM certification
• To lead and manage the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge and skills specific to project management Professional Examination Content Outline.
• You should have experience in all five process groups throughout your project management experience submitted on the application. However, on a single project, you do not need to have experience in all five process groups.

Licensing and accreditation
The PMI® Authorized PMP® Exam Preparation offered by AVC is accredited by the Project Management Institute, based on the Partner's Agreement and meets the accreditation requirements.
