PRINCE2® Agile Foundation & Practitioner (project management) - eLearning (Including exam)

PRINCE2 is a standard method for effective project management used worldwide and can be tailored to suit any project you manage. PRINCE2 Agile combines flexibility and responsiveness of agile with the clearly defined framework of PRINCE2 and guides practically applying both PRINCE2 and agile, reduce conflict and implement it effectively, so you benefit from the best of both worlds.

These globally recognized qualifications will give you the fundamental skills needed to be a successful project manager, improve your ability to tailor the PRINCE2 method to agile projects, and, most importantly, improve your employment prospects. They also give you flexibility as you’re not tied to a single industry as the framework can be applied in any organization in any scale project.

The purpose of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner qualification is to demonstrate that you can apply and adapt PRINCE2 Agile to different types of projects. A successful Practitioner should be able to begin applying the method to a real project but may not be sufficiently qualified to do this appropriately in all situations. Your individual expertise in project management, the complexity of the project and the support provided for the use of PRINCE2 Agile in your work environment will all influence what you can achieve.

PRINCE2 Agile's main purpose

• To support organizations and individuals who use PRINCE2 and want to expand their knowledge and understanding of Agile.
• To apply Agile concepts within their existing project management environment
• PRINCE2 Agile will provide Agile users with an understanding of PRINCE2 governance and how Agile concepts fit into the well-established best practice framework of the world's most recognized project management framework.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam. To take the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner examination, a candidate must hold any of the following certifications:

• PRINCE2® 5th / 6th / 7th Edition (Foundation or Practitioner)
• PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation
• Project Management Qualification® (PMQ)
• Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)®
• IPMA Levels A,B,C and D® (Certified Projects Director)

PMQ is a registered mark of the Association for Project Management. PMP and CAPM are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. IPMA Level A/B/C/D are registered trademarks of the International Project Management Association.

Exam Information

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks before course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered, you can book your online exam at a date and time. You are responsible for booking your exam.

The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:

• 60 minutes
• Multiple-choice
• 50 questions, each worth one mark
• 28 marks or more out of 50 questions required to pass – 55% pass mark
• Closed book

The format of the Practitioner exam is as follows:

• Exam language: English
• Format: Multiple choice questions
• Exam delivery: Online Proctored Exams
• Access: Candidates can access the exam within the PeopleCert Platform (Exam Shield Platform) upon completion of the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner course
• Number of questions: 50
• Passing Score: 30 marks required (out of 50 available) to pass - 60%
• Duration: 150 minutes

PRINCE2 Agile is accredited by PeopleCert, based on partner agreements and meets accreditation requirements.
