No specific prior qualifications are required to take the TOGAF Foundation exam. However, it is helpful if you have a background in IT, business architecture, or enterprise architecture, as the exam covers technical and business-related aspects of TOGAF.

  • Exam Name: TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 Exam
  • Qualification upon passing: TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation (and partial credit towards the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner qualification)
  • Exam language: English
  • Format: 40 Multiple choice questions
  • Exam delivery: onsite in Pearson Vue test center or online through OnVue Proctoring
  • Access: Candidates will receive an exam voucher upon completion of the TOGAF® EA Course - Foundation
  • Number of questions: 40 questions
  • Passing Score: 60% (24 or more questions out of a maximum of 40)
  • Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
  • Retake policy: If you fail the test you must wait one month before another attempt
